ABOUT

I've been writing code for over 15 years. Self-taught, never stopped. This is how it started.

The beginning

I grew up in Paris, obsessed with video games. My first console was a NES. Then came the Super Famicom, the PlayStation. My house was the spot - friends would come over every day and we'd play for hours. It was all we cared about.

As I got older, the curiosity shifted. I wasn't just playing games anymore - I wanted to understand the systems underneath. I started copying games, then gravitated toward the warez scene. Joined a small IRC crew. About ten of us, scattered across the internet, never met in person, but tight. We were exploring systems we had no business being in, pushing the boundaries of what we could do online.

The crash

When I was 17, after a lengthy investigation, the police showed up at my house. They seized my computer. I was banned from touching any computer for a year.

That was my wake-up call. I was completely checked out of school, heading nowhere good. I realized that if I didn't get serious, I'd end up with real problems. So I did something I hadn't done before - I started working. Hard.

The detour

I threw myself into studies. Economics, finance. I was starting from zero - dead last in every class. But I kept at it, closed the gaps, moved to London, and eventually landed in private equity at Goldman Sachs. But I quickly realized the job was about watching numbers and doing deals from the sidelines - not actually building anything. I wanted to create, to get my hands dirty, to operate. So I left.

The return

I'd already started teaching myself to code again during my master's. Bought a massive PHP textbook and worked through it cover to cover. When I left finance, I went all in on web development. Then deeper and deeper into the stack.

That was 15 years ago. I haven't stopped since.

The craft

Since then I've been in mad scientist mode. I've had a small exit, raised funding, built dozens of projects across every wave of the internet. I love building things that matter - products people actually use, systems that solve real problems. The code, the design, the business, the vision - I touch all of it. What I care about is how technology fits into people's lives. Not tech for tech's sake, but what you can create with it that's beautiful and useful.

Now

I'm fully immersed in agentic AI and robotics. I believe we're living in the greatest era for creators. Intelligence is becoming accessible. Agents can absorb complexity so you can stay in the creative zone. You can learn anything, build anything, connect any domain to any other.

I'm now working on the most ambitious thing I've ever attempted. Can't say much yet - but it sits at the intersection of everything I've been building toward: gaming, agents, robotics, spatial systems.

I've always believed in the hacker ethic. A free and open internet. A space for expression and creativity without gatekeepers. That's still what drives me.
